Admitted Student Day

The Office of Admission is taking precautions to protect our students, faculty and staff, and prospective students from the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We have updated our visit programs to provide prospective students opportunities to explore Drake remotely, instead. We have changed the Admitted Student Days on March 27 and April 3 to Virtual Admitted Student Days.

You can register for Virtual Admitted Student Day here:

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will continue to keep you abreast of any updates and you can expect to hear from us about other ways to engage with us this spring. We encourage you to reach out to us with any needs you have as you continue your college search. Our admission counselors are ready to answer any of your questions. We look forward to continuing to serve you and welcome you as a Bulldog this fall!

This full-day program is designed with the admitted student in mind and features a conference-type format with several concurrent sessions each hour for students and parents to attend.  Sessions include academic meetings with faculty, class options, residence and dining hall tours, information break-out sessions on a wide array of Drake programs and services, lunch on campus and much, much more.

The program will begin with check-in and continental breakfast at 7:30 am in Old Main, Levitt Hall and will conclude at 3:00pm.  Students and families who are  in Des Moines the evening prior are welcome to check-in to the program early at a welcome reception in the Shiver's Courtside Club between 6 - 7:30 pm.
