Drake Journalism & Mass Communication Day

This special visit program is designed for high school seniors and transfer students interested in the School of Journalism & Mass Communication (SJMC) and their families.

Sessions will include an SJMC Overview, faculty interactions, student and alumni panel, simulation, parent session, facilities tours and a “behind the scenes” tour of an ESPN live broadcast. 

Optional sessions include an Admission Overview at 9:30 AM and Campus Tour at 9:45 AM prior to the visit program and a Drake Men's Basketball game vs. Belmont Bruins, time TBD by ESPN, after the visit program. Complimentary tickets to the Drake Men’s Basketball game in the Knapp Center will be provided for the student and family members who select this option on the registration form.
