Create your Future at Drake's SJMC

Discover the exceptional academic and professional opportunities and programs available in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC)! This special visit program is designed for admitted students and their parents. Sessions will include faculty interactions, student and alumni panels, simulations, parent session, facilities tour and a “behind the scenes” tour of an ESPN broadcast.

Upon registration, students will have access to schedule several add-ons to their program including:

• Admission Overview at 12:30 PM
• Campus Tour at 1 PM
• Dinner in the Hub, Drake's dining hall at 5 PM
• Drake Women’s Basketball game vs. Belomont in the Knapp Center at 6 PM. (The Office of Admission will purchase WBB tickets for the student and family members who select this option on the registration form.)

Check-in for the program will be in Olmsted between 12 - 12:30 PM.

This program is limited to Seniors and Transfer students only. We welcome all other students to join us for an personalized visit offered through the Office of Admission.
