Join us for IHSPA’s 2026 Winter Thaw on Friday, February 13th at Drake University! Winter Thaw is a free professional development program for advisers and students. It provides an opportunity for advisers to connect with each other and hear from speakers about various topics. Students attend a separate day of programming, led by Drake's School of Journalism and Mass Communication professors. Student topics include writing, design, podcasting, video production, and much more. Students may choose from three intensive tracks: Writing, Sports, & Political Communication.
